Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment, not a dermal filler, containing one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) available to improve skin which lacks volume and elasticity.

What areas of the skin can be treated?
Profhilo is commonly targeted at treating facial areas, but it can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, décolletage, arms, knees, and hands.
It is used for tissue remodelling and to improve skin laxity, by promoting the restoration of firmness, tone, and elasticity of tissues through bio-remodelling. Profhilo attracts water in the deeper layers of the skin and stimulates four different types of collagens and elastin by slow release of hyaluronic acid, making it much more than a skin booster.

What can I expect during treatment?
Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface using a specialised technique and treatment pattern. After injection, and unlike dermal filler gels, it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration. Profhilo is absorbed within a 2cm radius of its injection site; therefore, to treat the face only ten injection points are needed in total.
How long does treatment with Profhilo take?
Each treatment session takes approximately 30 minutes.
How many treatment sessions are recommended?
A single course of Profhilo involves two injectable treatment sessions, spaced four weeks apart.
Is there downtime after Profhilo?
Following Profhilo treatment, downtime is minimal, and you should be able to return to normal ‘light’ daily activities immediately after your procedure.
However, we recommend that you avoid physical strain and sports on the first day after the treatment, and do not have a sauna or steamy bath for the first few days. You should also avoid intense sun or UV light exposure for the first few days after treatment.
When will I see results?
After treatment you can expect to see an intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear, and you will notice smoother, tighter skin within 3-5 days of your treatment.
The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen two months after the second treatment.
How long does Profhilo last?
To maintain the great results that you get from Profhilo, we recommend a repeat treatment session every 6 months.
